Moments is a collection inspired by various places around the world. It captures a timeless experience where time and place seem to stand still. The essence of this collection lies in meaningful moments that evoke emotion in the viewer.

"Fierce" is a collection inspired by feminine strength—the essence of being a woman who is strong, proud, and unapologetically herself. It embodies taking up deserved space with confidence, without apologizing for being "too much."

Sandra x Synapsen

Sandra x Synapsen: In collaboration with Synapsen, the student association newspaper for the psychology program at NTNU, Sandra Øverdal designed the cover. These designs were meant to represent the theme of each edition.

The painting depicts a sky above the sea. In the center of the image is an eye that forms a sphere with another eye in the center. It may also appear as a hole through which the eye is peering. The painting uses blue tones and light colors.

Sfære

The painting is inspired by children's dream of exploring and being curious. It shows a small child flying on a paper plane with a pilot's cap. Surrounding the child are pastel colors in soft shapes, illustrating joy.

Utforsker

The painting depicts a spring mood and the use of voice. It shows a woman with a long neck and red hair, with her mouth half open. From her mouth, various flowers and butterflies emerge, moving from the mouth, around the head, and down in front of the neck. The background is yellow to illustrate spring colors.

"Texture" is a series of paintings where plaster and acrylic paint bring the canvas to life and depth. Through the varied use of colors and shapes, a sense of movement is created within the artwork.

Shapes

Stolt

Stolt is Sandra Øverdal’s first photo series, created in 2020. In collaboration with the Afryea Collective, it was one of the exhibitions held at Feminist House. Stolt is a photo series that celebrates the importance of embracing what sets us apart from others. The inspiration behind the paintings is the diversity within society. We differ in hair texture, shape, color, and personality—each of us is unique, making it challenging for everyone to fit into a single "ideal."
